A2Z Cust2Mate has completed the acquisition of Hedia, Israel’s leading in-store retail media company, bringing an established, profitable business with approximately $20 million in FY25 revenue into the A2Z Cust2Mate group.
Why Hedia
A2Z Cust2Mate already provides the digital in-store touchpoint, media inventory, shopper journey data and measurement capabilities. Hedia adds the commercial engine: advertiser relationships, sales expertise, and campaign planning and execution at scale.
Since 1988, Hedia has worked with leading retailers and global brands including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Kimberly-Clark, Nike and Henkel, delivering campaigns across digital signage, electronic shelf labels and in-store activations.
What it means for retailers and brands
Together, A2Z Cust2Mate and Hedia connect more of the in-store retail media value chain, from advertiser sales and campaign planning to activation, shopper engagement and measurement.
The combined business is expected to expand retail media sales and execution capabilities, monetize smart cart media inventory through Hedia’s advertiser network, and create new offerings across smart carts, screens, electronic shelf labels and in-store activations .
“A2Z has built the technology, smart cart media inventory, shopper journey data and measurement infrastructure. Hedia adds the commercial engine, including advertiser relationships and robust sales capabilities. Together, we can offer a broad, integrated business solution,” said Gadi Graus, CEO of A2Z Cust2Mate.
