Role Overview: 

As a Customer Success Manager / Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment, adoption, and ongoing satisfaction of our smart cart solution within retail environments. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing implementation projects, fostering strong relationships, and driving long-term success through proactive engagement and support. This role requires a combination of project management expertise, customer success strategies, and technical understanding to optimize the customer experience and operational efficiency. 

 Key Responsibilities:

Customer Success & Relationship Management 

  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and retail customers, ensuring alignment with business goals. 
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer stakeholders. 
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, address concerns proactively, and drive continuous improvements. 
  • Provide training and onboarding support to ensure smooth adoption of smart cart technology. 
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to enhance product features and services. 

Project Management & Implementation 

  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, from initial onboarding to full-scale deployment.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with internal teams and customers. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts between sales, technical teams, support, and operations. 
  • Manage risks, resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely project delivery. 
  • Lead customer workshops and training sessions to facilitate smooth implementation. 

Technical & Operational Support 

  • Work closely with customers to integrate smart cart technology with existing POS, payment, and loyalty systems. 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. 
  • Ensure smart carts meet operational requirements and drive adoption within stores. 
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer success and system performance. 

Qualifications: 

Experience & Skills 

  • 5+ years of experience in customer success, project management, or account management in a tech-driven industry (retail tech, IoT, or related fields). 
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer deployments simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. 
  • Technical expertise in understanding product integrations, POS systems, and troubleshooting requirements. 
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking KPIs and customer performance metrics. 

Education & Certifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Customer Success certifications are a plus. 

Additional Qualities 

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities. 
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. 
  • Willingness to travel for customer sites visits
