This role will focus on process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across all production lines.

Key Responsibilities

Process Development & Optimization

  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Identify bottlenecks and apply Lean/Kaizen methodologies for continuous improvement.
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality.

Technical Support to Manufacturing

  • Provide real-time engineering support for assembly, integration, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on production lines.
  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and transition from prototype to mass production.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure processes meet regulatory and industry standards (ISO9001, CE, UL, RoHS).
  • Collaborate with QA teams to define inspection methods, acceptance criteria, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report production KPIs, yield rates, and rework trends.

Documentation & Standards

  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing process evidence and records.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and CM/ODM partners to optimize manufacturability.
  • Provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) feedback to design teams.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet required specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or process engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies: plastic injection Molding, PCB assembly (SMT), wiring harnesses, and system integration.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • High proficiency in Excel (data analysis, KPI tracking) and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Skilled in CAD/engineering software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in high-volume electronics or electro-mechanical product manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with international compliance and safety standards (CE, UL, FCC).
  • Background in supplier management and working with global contract manufacturers.
