Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably within the high-tech industry, and brings strong analytical, organizational, and operational skills. This role includes responsibility for day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting a fast-paced, growing startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and general ledger entries across Israeli and US entities. 


• Handle A/P and A/R, including international vendors and multi-currency transactions. 


• Prepare and execute payments across multiple banks and currencies. 


• Handle and book all credit cards transaction. 


• Manage import/export accounting: duties, freight, landed cost, logistics-related transactions. 


• Work closely with the payroll agency, book all payroll-related costs, and handle all associated payments. 


• Perform accurate cost allocations across products, projects, and business units. 


• Reconcile accounts monthly and support the month-end close as well as reporting. 


• Report and manage transactions with municipalities, tax authorities, and government bodies. 


• Work with online financial tools such as Mesh, Dokka, and similar platforms. 


• Proficient with online portals and invoicing/payment platforms for collecting invoices and executing payments. 


• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. 


• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and global teams to ensure accurate financial data. 

Requirements

• 7+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience, at least part of it in a global high-tech or import/export environment. 


• Strong experience with multi-currency, international operations and cost allocation. 


• Hands-on experience preparing payments and working with multiple banking systems and credit cards. 


• Experience working with payroll agencies and payroll-related accounting. 


• Familiarity with government reporting, municipal filings, and statutory requirements. 


• Proficient in Priority software (Priority ERP) – A must 


• Experience with tools like Mesh and Dokka. 


• Strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. 


• Relevant bookkeeping education and certification.
