About The Position

Cust2Mate is a startup developing smart shopping cart technology that enables retailers to enhance the in-store shopping experience through digitization, personalization, and on-cart and in-store advertising.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic leader to establish and drive Cust2Mate’s Retail Media vertical in Israel from the ground up. This role includes developing the strategic and business foundations, recruiting advertisers from the CPG and food sectors, and managing day-to-day operations and client relations. The position reports to the General Manager of Cust2Mate Israel and is part of the company’s global executive leadership team.

This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in leading innovative business areas at the intersection of retail, media, and data, who wants to directly shape one of the company’s key growth engines.

  • A pioneer eager to build advertisers’ dream channel: a personalized omnichannel shopper journey enriched with captivating media experiences.
  • Someone with a background in digital media, CPG, retail, or AdTech, ready to take full ownership—from strategy to hands-on execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead Cust2Mate’s Retail Media operation from the ground up: define vision, business model, and methodologies for collaboration with retailers and food manufacturers.
  • Develop and manage a Retail Media Network leveraging Cust2Mate’s smart cart platform and supporting digital assets.
  • Build advertising strategies for food and FMCG brands, including value propositions, ad formats, pricing models, and KPIs.
  • Create commercial partnerships with advertisers, media agencies, and ecosystem partners; lead negotiations and close deals.
  • Set up internal processes with product, data, development, and marketing teams to build measurement, targeting, and campaign optimization capabilities using real-time shopper data.
  • Manage the advertiser portfolio: onboarding, campaign leadership, annual planning, retention, and growth.
  • Define success metrics, build dashboards, and provide ongoing performance, revenue, and growth reports to management.


Requirements

  • Proven extensive experience establishing or managing Retail Media or digital media operations within a retail, brand, media platform, or tech company.
  • Significant experience in business development and client management with food/FMCG brands and media agencies.
  • Deep understanding of ad measurement, digital campaigns, data & analytics, and in-store/on-cart advertising.
  • Strong ability to build and lead a new business domain: independent, process-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple interfaces in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in Hebrew and English.
